At ASI, I worked on several projects, assisting sales and project managers with the mapping of sign locations through the program SignAgent.

My main focus while an intern at ASI was to assist with the organization and tracking of signage installation for their large-scale project involving the creation of new signage for the Caesar’s Superdome renovation.

I compiled an Excel spreadsheet spanning over a thousand rows, broken down by quadrants and signage types. My job was to ensure the installation and creation of the mass of signs was documented to keep CA on track and prevent the creation of duplicate signage, as well as notify them when signage was missing.

I attended site visits to the Superdome and, with a large plan set, would go throughout the structure noting where signage was missing, installed correctly, or damaged during construction and requiring repair.

Being on an active construction site of this magnitude was a very cool experience. This internship ingrained in me the necessity of organization when handling projects and maintaining consistent quality assurance throughout the whole process.
